O Love beyond all love
And heart of all desire,
Kindle in us some part
Of the ever burning fire
You cast upon the Earth;
Bring us to birth, new birth,
That we may grow in love,
that we may know above
all human ways of knowing
who You are,
and loving, have some part
with you forever.
