Thank you for these words of wisdom today. They remind me of Pedro Arrupe's prayer "In the hands of God" which is a great inspiration to me. I need to keep these words in mind and surrender totally to our Lord.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this Pope Francis canonizes Arrupe.
DeleteJohn, my spiritual director was blessed to meet Pedro Arrupe but not until he had suffered his stroke; however, he said that it was powerful just to be in the room with him.
DeleteYour director is fortunate. He probably has learned a lot from Arrupe, which he has passed along to you.
