Lord Jesus, teach us how to be a peaceful people. Teach us the violence and force is not of God. Bullying, imposition, gossipping, and silencing are violent forces that are contrary to God's way. Help us to form our initial thoughts to be compassionate and full of mercy, so that our attitudes follow. Let us be gentle when we ask others to reflect upon their attitudes. Let's do our best to learn from your teachings, so that we may help to bring your reign on earth a little more visible to those who seek hope.
