We’ve heard that the people of the time
had certain ideas about the Promised One,
thought the Expected One would be born in a palace
or come down from Heaven on a cloud,
never expected the Messiah
would be sent as a baby to people like Mary and Joseph …
Our question is this:
What is our expectation?
What promise do we hold in our hearts?
Who is this Messiah born to us?
