You
are the Body of Christ. In you and through you the work of the incarnation must
go forward. You are meant to incarnate in your lives the theme of your
adoration – you are to be taken, blessed, broken, and distributed, that you may
be the means of grace and vehicles of eternal charity.

What a beautiful reminder of how we are called to live. It is a challenge that overwhelms at times, yet if we are willing to follow our Lord and allow God's love and grace to be sufficient for us, we can be the Body of Christ in this suffering world. May we have the grace to do this.
ReplyDeleteI find it to be a beautiful sentiment. It is as if I were reading a post-Vatican II statement, but it was written many centuries ago.
