Romans eight reveals the inextricable connection between the human and the cosmos. Non-human creation, groans in size like a human being but, like humans, it is also in a state of anticipation. And what is it waiting for? Liberation and redemption.
Resurrection is not something that creation can bring forth of itself, and not even highly develop humanity can do that. The resurrection of the human and the universe is a sharing and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
