May the grace of God’s protection and His great love abide
within your home and within the hearts of all who dwell inside.
May you have the hindsight to know where you’ve been, and the
foresight to know when you’re going too far.
May you always have a clean shirt, a clean conscience, and a
guinea in your pocket.
Sure, and may there be a road before you and may it be bordered
with roses, the likes of which you’ve never seen before, for the warm fine
color and the sweetness that is on them.
May God grant you many years to live: For sure, He must be
knowing the earth has angels all too few and Heaven is overflowing.
In the name of dear St. Patrick, this brings a loving prayer:
May you forever be within God’s tender loving care. May your hearts be filled
with happiness, may your home be filled with laughter, and may the Holy Trinity
bless your life forever after.
May the blessings and love of St. Patrick fall on yourself, on
your home, on your dear ones and all.
And, one short and sweet enough to recall: May His net embrace
us all.
