Behold, today heaven
throws open its bosom to receive Mary, who brought forth the great One. The
earth, receiving the source of life, covered itself with blessings and beauty.
Let us all kneel before her and pray: O Queen, do not forget those who are
joined to you by affinity and celebrate with faith your holy dormition.
