Prayer: Rose of Lima
O my God, who would not love you? O good Jesus, when will I begin to love you as I am obliged? How far am I from this perfect, intimate, and generous love? I do know even know how to love you. How embarrassing! What advantage is it to have a heart unless it is consumed with love for you.

I like the thought of my heart being "consumed" with love for God and I pray that is so and that it affects the way I live. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteIt is a powerful image. Many blessings.
