From the cowardice that dare not face the truth,
From the laziness that is contented with half the truth,
From the arrogance that thinks it knows all the truth,
Good Lord, deliver us.
To the truth that makes us free,
To the truth that helps us to see,
To the truth that makes its home in Thee,
Good Lord, deliver us.
