Thank you for this quote. It fits with something a small CLC group I belong is trying to do: listening to one another with the heart. Because it seems to me that to get to this sort of dialogue that opens us to the core of our identify, we do need to listen to one another with our heart, waiting to feel the movement of the Spirit in our heart that the words of the other has provoked.

A part to this statement that I like is the attitude of trying to see the "other" as an equal partner. When we see each other as valuable contributors who can enrich us, we learn something from them. It allows us to be open and to listen in a more thorough way.
