Today, I pray for the alleviation of suffering of many people who are seek and cannot find God in their lives, especially in times of distress or injury.
I pray also for integrity in our decisions and that we remain a people who are responsible for and in tune with the suffering of others. As we approach Holy Week, may we please call to mind our own suffering so we can give it over to Jesus who will take it to the cross. Next week, may we be his companion and journey with him. We can simply watch what he is doing for us.
