Thy Will

Thy will, O Lord our God, be done on earth as round thy heavenly throne. Thy patience, Lord, on us bestow, that we obey in weal and woe. Stay thou the hand and spoil the skill of them that work against thy will.

  1. Amen. This morning Gregg and I started our day with praying "Let Go and Let God". We find that when we trust and live in God's will, there is more peace, understanding and clairty, with less stress and anguish from trying to control. Thank you for this morning's prayer.

  2. Yes, it is difficult at times to give up our will, but when we let go we find things go much easier and we are much happier. We have to decide where we want some control and where we can let someone else do things for us. It is nice having someone else do the work. Things will get done, maybe not in the way we imagine, but in the end who does it doesn't really matter.

The flowers you sent Jane yesterday were lovely. They were at our table for the collation after the funeral. Jane and her Mom seemed consoled.
