Thank you, Mary, for your nativity, which for the whole Christian world as a birth of joy, the hope, and solace of its life. When you were born, then the world was made light! Have mercy upon me and give me aid so that just as your nativity announced joy to the world, so may it fill me with true joy and cleanse me from every sin.
