Prayer: Prayer for The Society of Jesus on the Feast of All Jesuit Saints and Blesseds
Father,
in the name of Jesus,
through the power of your Holy Spirit,
we pray that you inflame the hearts of men
with courage and trust
and the desire to labor for your kingdom
as Jesuits.
We ask you
through the intercession of Mary, our mother,
St. Ignatius and all your saints,
to bless the Society of Jesus
with bountiful vocations
that it may continue to serve your church
with passion and zeal.
May your will be done. Amen.

This day gives me much for which to be thankful. St. Ignatius and the Society of Jesus have been a tremendous blessing in my life and Ignatian Spirituality has challenged and continues to challenge me to stretch and to go deeper in my relationship with God; it has been transformational in my life. Thank you, John, and all Jesuits for your commitment to our Lord.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lynda. It is good to have you as an Ignatian companion. We rely upon God for all the good work we try to do. Thanks for your good words. John
