Prayer: Thomas Merton
Make ready for the Christ whose smile - like lightning - sets free the song of everlasting glory that now sleeps in your paper flesh like dynamite.
Dear Fr John, a fine quotation! Could you give a citation as I would like to use and reference it. Jim Forest (author of a biography of Merton, "Living With Wisdom") jhforest@gmail.com
Thank you, Jim. Unfortunately, the only citation I have is on Christmas card I received. This was the message inside of it. I can look for the card and find out the printer if that helps.
