Prayer: Katherine Drexel
If
we wish to serve God and love our neighbor well, we must manifest our joy in
the service we render: Let us open wide our hearts. It is joy that invites us.
Press forward and fear nothing.
When we are in communion with God and we are serving God by serving our neighbour, there is great joy within our hearts. This joy is a grace given by our Lord. But we must differentiate between joy which is grounded in our faith and happiness which is fleeting. Thanks for this quote.

ReplyDeleteYes. It is hard to define joy, but you know it when you feel it.
