Spirituality: Gerhard Lohfink, The New City has no Temple
The new city has no temple. Instead, God, the ruler of all, and Jesus Christ are at the center of the city. They are at glory and it’s light. That is probably meant to say that God in person is, with Christ, the temple in the city – and the whole city is nothing but a holy Temple Square. Because all glory and all it’s like come from God, the city needs neither the sun in the daytime or the moon and the Night
