A blessed Mother’s Day weekend to everyone.

May God richly bless the mothers who have given new life, sustained it, nurtured it, and enriched the lives of others. May the Lord richly reward them for their self-giving care. We hope your day is joyous as you feel much love returned to you.

Let us always fondly remember grandmothers and mothers-in-law, aunts and sisters, nieces and cherished friends who have provided our community with prayerful support and kind gestures. Let us pray for those who have given their lives in support of families, especially the infirm and those with disabilities. We remember those who have adopted and cared for children that have become their own. Bless those women who are expectant mothers and give them safety.

Let us warmly bless those women who have not been able to bear children or whose for whom their life situations made motherhood a challenge. Bless those who are in the single state. May they see the fullness of their personhood rewarded by God.

Bless those women and men who have positively nurtured and sustained the lives and hopes of others. Bless those who give life and call it to the fullest.
