Let your illusions gently give way. The Christmas season is bound to have conflict and difficulties, especially with families. Remember that this is the reason we need a savior. Christmas is about God embracing real human life - with all its shortcomings, failings, and disappointments.
This is the reality of our human condition. Such high expectations and so many disappointments during this season when we need to focus on the birth of our Saviour and the amazing faith of Mary and Joseph. Thank you for this wisdom.
