Prayer: Marie-Rose Durocher
I
invite you to come to the heart of Jesus with me, for it is there that I wish
to remain and where, if you wish it so, we shall never be separated from one
another.
(The Sacred Heart of Jesus is celebrated in the Orthodox calendar tomorrow.)
I agree with Claire about being "all one in the One". One of my favourite lines in Anima Christi is "O good Jesus, hear me, within thy wounds hide me". I long to be within Jesus. Thank you for this beautiful expression of love.
I love the idea that we are all one in the One :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this prayer. I never heard of this person...
She is a Canadian who founded the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. She was beatified in 1982.

ReplyDeleteYes, I like that line too. I referred to it today when I rewrote a prayer of consecration to the Sacred Heart.
