Prayer: Dulcinea in Don Quixote
Blows and abuse I can take and give back again, but tenderness I cannot
bear.
This makes tears spring to my eyes... for many reasons. Recently there was an outstanding production of Man of LaMancha here in Albany, my husband and I went to see it. It was so exceptional, I took my 15 year old stepdaughter a week later.
This line landed hard both times... That said, I'm glad to read it here.

It is powerful. I'm glad you like it so much. I've never been to Man of LaMancha. I wouldn't hesitate to go. Tenderness is powerful!
