Prayer: Peter Canisius, S.J.
The fear of many people is greater than necessary because they look for human and not divine help.
Yes. That is true. We as individuals have to confront our own fears and notice where we are held back by looking for human help and human admiration. I have to increasingly tell myself to look for God's help when I want human help.
This is what Isaiah was trying to say to the various kings of his time. Mind you, not much seems to have changed since then:-)
