Prayer: by Marcel Proust
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
I am grateful to you for sharing your gifts which indeed make me happy. As I prepare today to celebrate the Rite of Acceptance with the Archbishop of Santa Fe, I will keep you in prayer and will thank God for all his blessings -- of which you are certainly a big one! jer...
Gosh! You probably think I've lost it:-) I celebrated the Rite of Election at the Basilica in Santa Fe this afternoon. I suppose the time change caught me asleep this a.m. when I told you it was the Rite of Acceptance.
Anyway, it was a beautiful ceremony and one of the very best days of my life. Now looking forward to Easter Vigil!
I'm glad you said that I made your day -- all that you do is deeply appreciated! Peace, jer...
Jer, anyway you look at it, the rite is one of acceptance. I knew what you meant. We are a better church when we learn how to accept new members and the diverse gifts we all bring to the table.
